Artist's Description

This one just screamed out to me. I love the juxtiposition of nature and beauty with the old and abandoned and forgotten. This car was once beautiful and new and belonged to someone. The same with the warehouse behind it. At one point that building employed people and had activity and productivity. Now both are relics of the past and soon nature will overtake both of them.

About Spencer Hughes

Spencer Hughes

I have been in love with photography since the glory days of Kodachrome using my classic Kodak 110 camera as a child. Born and raised in San Francisco, I was spoiled with such incredible scenery and subjects--from the concrete jungle of downtown to the majestic redwoods of Muir Woods, from the crashing ocean waves to the ghostly bunkers of World War II. Photography is a sweet, glorious, joy filled adventure for me. It is where I find complete peace and zen. My family and I left city life behind and moved to the woods of Western Washington and live on our 5 acres of Heaven. Thanks for visiting my site and browsing, shopping, and sharing my work. Cheers!
